Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Manager based in Boston, MA. The Construction Manager will oversee daily construction operations specific to wood frame construction, manage project timelines, materials, project teams, and ensure details and specifications are met. Responsibilities include supervising construction crews, coordinating with GC, managing materials, and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. The role also involves overseeing project schedules and providing accurate project controls to meet deadlines and deliver on timelines.

Qualifications

  • Proven supervisory skills with the ability to lead and manage construction teams effectively.
  • Experience in budgeting and financial management for construction projects.
  • Expertise in construction safety and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Technical knowledge and hands-on experience in construction methodologies and practices.
  • Strong project control and scheduling abilities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in wood frame construction
  • High IQ in blueprint knowledge and details
  • Experience in procore and daily logs
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
