Position Description

  1. Prepare calculations based on project requirements
  2. Create 3D models and produce shop, assembly, and erection drawings
  3. Analyze, design, and select appropriate steel member connections for projects
  4. Provide checks of drawings to ensure compliance with contract documents
  5. Submit requests for information (RFI's) to customers
  6. Work closely with Project Managers and Structural Engineers

Position Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Architectural, Mechanical) required
  2. Knowledge of structural steel and miscellaneous metals preferred
  3. Knowledge of current building codes and regulations preferred
  4. Ability to read and interpret drawings and contract specifications preferred
  5. Manage multiple projects at once
  6. Analytical and problem solving skills
  7. Strong leadership, organizational and planning skills
  8. Must be able to successfully complete all post-offer and pre-employment contingencies
  9. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
