We are seeking a skilled Metal Worker to join our dynamic team in Beaumnt TX. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in metal fabrication and machining, with a focus on precision and quality. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for creating and assembling metal components according to specifications, ensuring that all work meets industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate metal parts and components using various tools and machinery.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project requirements.
• Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure accuracy in measurements.
• Operate CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal products.
• Perform basic math calculations to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues during production.
• Conduct machining processes, including milling, turning, and grinding.
• Program CNC machines as needed for specific tasks or projects.
• Utilize electrical discharge machining techniques when required.
• Employ precision measuring instruments to ensure quality control of finished products.
• Safely operate forklifts for material handling within the workshop environment.

Skills

• Proficient in metal fabrication techniques and processes.
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles.
• Experience operating CNC machinery is essential.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Familiarity with various machining processes, including milling and turning.
• Ability to program CNC machines for specific tasks or projects.
• Knowledge of electrical discharge machining is a plus.
• Competence in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Forklift operation experience is preferred for material handling tasks.
