Lumark Technologies, Inc . (), founded in 1999, is a mature small business that provides services to Defense, Federal and Commercial clients. Lumark has an exciting opportunity for a  Senior Network Engineer to join our team in support of the  U.S. Navy onsite at a government site in Washington, D.C.

Duties

• Develop and implement security policies and standards that align with industry regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Analyze security requirements and establish protocols to fulfill them.
• Prepare and document SOPs and protocols for cybersecurity operations.
• Respond to and mitigate incidents and security threats.
• Provide technical advice and support to mitigate potential security risks and implement prevention strategies.
• Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure software, hardware, and network security.
• Participate in security architecture reviews for new and existing IT projects.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, including system configurations, network diagrams, and incident response playbooks.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
• Currently hold or have recently held at minimum a DoD Secret Clearance.
• Must currently reside in or near Washington, D.C. and be able to commute to the work location.
• Must possess experience with hands-on implementation of security controls on government IT systems.
• At least 10 years of relevant industry experience.

Physical Requirements

Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, walking, lifting, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner.
