Product & CPG Operations Assistant (1099 Contractor | Part-Time → Full-Time Path)
We’re hiring a Product & CPG Operations Assistant to support daily operations across finance, logistics, product management, packaging, and strategic projects. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and excited to learn how a growing CPG brand operates from the inside.
Compensation & Status
1099 Contractor
$20–$22/hour
What You’ll Do
Finance & Admin
Assist with wires and payment documentation
Support light accounting and expense tracking
Organize invoices and financial records for leadership
Logistics & Co-Manufacturing
Create shipping labels (frozen and temp-controlled freight)
Maintain documentation for co-manufacturers and logistics partners
Track case counts, shipments, and inventory activity
Product & Packaging
Maintain ingredient and product specification sheets
Support label updates and formulation documentation
Coordinate packaging updates with graphic designers
Organize product files and version control
Strategic & Executive Support
Attend selected leadership and advisor meetings
Take notes, organize follow-ups, and assist with documentation
Support CEO and CGO with project coordination and admin needs
Digital Media & Brand
Organize digital assets with the Digital Media Manager
Assist with internal media requests and file management
Help maintain brand organization across teams
Office & Operations
Book conference rooms at Catapult Lakeland
Support scheduling and internal coordination
Assist with general operations tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
Strong organization and attention to detail
Comfortable working with documentation and spec sheets
Interest in CPG, operations, or supply chain
Clear communication and follow-through
Comfortable in fast-moving, cross-functional teams
Working knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets, calendar tools
Preferred Experience
Exposure to operations, accounting, supply chain, or CPG
Experience with product documentation or supplier coordination
Background in admin or assistant roles
Hiring Timeline
Interviews: December 2025 – January 2026
Offer extended: Late January
Start: February 2026 (Part-Time)
Moved toward Full-Time by early Q2 based on performance
Training Phases
Feb: Shadowing and small tasks
March: Ownership of recurring work
Early Q2: Full operational workflow with minimal supervision
