The Physician Assistant delivers holistic pain management care to patients of all ages within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Responsibilities include evaluating chronic pain conditions, performing credentialed interventional procedures, and developing individualized treatment plans using both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic approaches. The role also involves educating patients, monitoring treatment outcomes, collaborating closely with medical and complementary providers, and documenting all clinical care in accordance with industry standards.

Schedule: Rotating 4 days on-4 days off | 10-hour shifts | 8AM-7PM (180 days off per year)
Salary: $140,000- $160,000 per year; Plus Bonus potential!
Job Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and manage chronic pain through individualized, multimodal treatment plans integrating pharmacologic, non-pharmacologic, and interventional therapies (e.g., joint and trigger point injections).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—medical providers, chiropractors, acupuncturists, behavioral health clinicians, dietitians, and others—to develop and adjust coordinated care strategies.
• Educate patients on safe pain management practices, including opioid stewardship, alternative therapies, and self-management, while monitoring outcomes to improve function and quality of life.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnose conditions, order/interpret diagnostics, prescribe medications within licensure, and complete accurate, timely documentation.
• Apply evidence-based, patient-centered decision-making to support long-term health goals within an interdisciplinary care model.
Qualifications:
• Current California Physician Assistant licensure, Board Certification, and DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain).
• Experience in pain management preferred, though strong interest and willingness to develop expertise are welcomed.
• 1+ year of PA experience preferred, but training is available for promising candidates.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.
