Job Title: Maintenance I – Crane Operator
Location: Verona, MS
Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM (Monday–Thursday; Fridays as needed)
Pay Rate: $21.33 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Crane Operator (Maintenance I) to join our 2nd shift team in Verona, MS. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of an overhead crane in support of production and maintenance operations. The role requires working at elevated heights and strict adherence to all safety standards.

Essential Responsibilities

• Safely operate overhead crane during production and maintenance activities
• Climb ladders to access and operate crane from elevated cab
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and report mechanical or safety issues
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times
• Support maintenance team as needed to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications & Requirements

• Prior crane operating experience required
• Comfortable climbing ladders to access crane cab
• Ability to pass a physical assessment, including climbing down an emergency rope ladder
• Ability to work at elevated heights
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Availability to work 2nd shift schedule
• Dependable attendance and punctuality

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders and descend emergency rope ladder
• Ability to work at heights for extended periods
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required for the position
