Hiring for a well-established internal medicine practice that has proudly served the Latino community in Washington Heights for over 20 years. With a high volume of returning patients and a focus on chronic disease management, prevention, and culturally competent care, we are
seeking a Spanish-speaking NP or PA to join our team in providing high-quality adult
primary care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive adult internal medicine evaluations.
- Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and asthma.
- Perform annual physical exams, wellness visits, sick visits, and follow-ups.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging.
- Prescribe medications and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
- Coordinate care with specialists and provide patient education.
- Document thoroughly in the EMR system.
- Deliver respectful, culturally sensitive care to a largely Spanish-speaking patient
population.
Qualifications:
- Licensed NP (FNP, AGNP) or PA-C in New York State with current registration.
- Minimum 2 years of internal medicine or adult primary care experience.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
- Comfortable working independently in a busy, outpatient setting.
- BLS certification required; DEA license preferred.
