HVAC Service Technician

Location: Farmingdale, NY | Compensation: $80,000–$110,000 per year

We’re seeking skilled and reliable HVAC Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems for both residential and commercial clients.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a customer-first mindset. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.

What You’ll Do

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems across residential and commercial sites
Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and part replacements as needed
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in HVAC systems
Provide accurate, timely, and effective repair solutions
Communicate clearly with clients about system issues, repairs, and maintenance tips
Maintain accurate service reports, work orders, and parts documentation
Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and refrigerant handling regulations

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on HVAC service and repair experience (required)
Valid HVAC certification and/or license (required)
EPA Certification for refrigerant handling (required)
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, diagnostics, and industry tools
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Strong customer service and communication abilities
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred
