Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician based in Phoenix to support multi-state projects involving security camera systems, audio/video installations, access control hardware, Netowork Infrastructure,and structured cabling. This role requires strong technical expertise, professional communication, and the ability to work independently in the field under lead supervision.Technicians will travel frequently across Phoenix and other states as needed. Heavy Travel Nationwide. 80% travel
Compensation:
$26–$32 per hour, depending on experience and certifications
Overtime available at time-and-a-half
Per diem and travel lodging provided
Key Responsibilities:
Install and service IP/CCTV camera systems, Wireless Access Points,NVRs, PoE switches, cabling, and mounting hardware
Install access, readers, control panels, gateways, and low-voltage power supplies
Deploy speakers, amplifiers, DSPs, TVs, mounts, HDMI extenders, and structured A/V cabling
Pull, label, terminate, and test Cat5e/6/6A and low-voltage wiring
Mount and organize equipment racks; manage cable pathways
Complete daily documentation, photos, updates, and ticket notes
Maintain professional communication with GCs, electricians, IT teams, and client teams
Follow company installation standards and safety requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in low-voltage, security, CCTV/IP cameras, Network infrastructure,access control, or A/V systems
Strong knowledge of structured cabling, PoE, networking fundamentals, and low-voltage power
Ability to read drawings, device layouts, and wiring diagrams
Experience with Verkada, Altronix, Cisco, Kisis, Lumana,Biamp, or QSC systems preferred
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders/lifts
Valid driver’s license required
OSHA 10 is a plus
