The EKG Technician performs EKG testing in all areas of the hospital as ordered by the physician. To respond to all STAT and CODE calls. To be alert to irregularities in tracings that requires immediate medical attention. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 1. High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs. 2. Minimum of one year of specialized training in EEG or equivalent experience. 3. Minimum six months experience in EEG/EKG. 4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 5. Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
