Now Hiring– Business Litigation Attorney

Located: St. Petersburg, FL 33701

Hours: 8:30-5:00, Mon- Fri

Salary: $90k-119k based on skills and experience.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Litigation Attorney with at least 3 years of experience in business and commercial law. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a strategic thinker, and capable of managing complex litigation matters from initial assessment through resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in business and commercial litigation, including contract disputes, partnership disagreements, shareholder issues, and business torts.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, settlement agreements, and legal correspondence.
• Conduct legal research, discovery, depositions, and case analysis.
• Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
• Advise clients on litigation risks, case strategy, and potential outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and outside parties to support case development.
• Manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities effectively.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing with the state bar in Florida.
• Minimum 3 years of litigation experience , specifically in business or commercial disputes.
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing fast-paced workloads.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with complex commercial litigation.
• Familiarity with arbitration and alternative dispute resolution.
• Trial experience is a plus.
